Chlorinated Rubber Paint 

• Formulated on a combination of synthetic alkyd resin in combination with a hard resin to enhance the insulating properties of the product
• It is specially recommended as an insulating varnish for mild voltages for the electrical gadgets especially the windings on motors, transformers and similar applications
• Designed Use ensures that there is a net gain in power utility

DESIGNED USE:

• It is strongly recommended for use as an insulation solution for medium and low voltage components in domestic power Designed Use
• Can be used on motor winding, transformers, circuit boards
• The temperatures should not however be higher than 90 °c

COVERAGE: 

The theoretical coverage of ROBBIALAC ELECTRICAL INSULATING VARNISH would be approximately 10 – 12 M²/liter at a Dry film thickness of 20 µ.

*Due consideration must be given to the evenness of the surface and the nature of the substrate.

SURFACE PREPARATIONS:

• Avoid humid conditions >95% and also dew point of <3% for application
• The expected life span is directly related to the surface cleanliness and proper application.
• Ensure that the surface to be painted is free from dust and other loose flakes that would be detrimental in the proper application
• One or two coats can be applied as required

*Not suitable for immersed conditions & cannot be coated with 2K, Vinyl & aromatic thinned alkyd systems.
