Coverage:

  1. The theoretical coverage of ROBBIALAC SHIELD EMULSION would be approximately 6-7 M²/liter at a Dry film thickness of 25 µ.

*Due consideration must be given to the evenness of the surface and the nature of the substrate.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Surface preparation” tab_id=”1484254048904-5d78e536-ab01″][vc_column_text]Surface preparations:

  1. The surface to be painted needs to be clear of all grease, laitance and fungal growth
  2. For best results use ROBBIALAC ANTIFUNGAL WASH for effective preparation on fungus affected areas.
  3. STUCCO PUTTY-INTERIOR can be applied to fill all cracks and surface undulation for smooth surface
  4. We recommend applying one coat of ROBBIALAC SHIELD EMULSION WHITE (diluted to 15% of total paint volume) as a first coat to provide thorough binding of final SHIELD EMULSION top coat
  5. Two to three coats of SHIELD EMULSION can be applied as required, giving three to four hours gap between coats
  6. Painted surfaces that require refurbishing can be prepared by removing the flakey old paint and proceeding with the procedure described above

  1. By roller/brush and if large areas are to be painted one can use suitable spray application
  2. To keep the brush/roller and spray equipment in good condition for use, clean the same in Luke warm water and dry them immediately after application

Thinning recommendation:

  1. Soft water and to the extent of maximum of 10% of the paint by volume for final coat.
