Acrylic Binder Clear (Interior/Exterior)

• Specially designed co-polymer water based primer formulated for adequate anchoring of the subsequent coats for porous substrates
• It is not pigmented and has got good alkali resisting properties
• The special property of the binder acts by suitably penetrating the pores and seals the civil structures
• Suitable for old and new concrete surfaces and exhibits good adhesion
• Available in interior and exterior formulation

DESIGNED USE:

• Recommended as a first coat before subsequent (water based) top coats.
• Developed to provide longevity to topcoats
• Provides through binding properties for topcoat to various substrates

COVERAGE:  The theoretical coverage of ROBBIALAC ACRYLIC BINDER would be approximately 8 – 10 M²/liter at a Dry film thickness of 25 µ.

*Due consideration must be given to the evenness of the surface and the nature of the substrate.

SURFACE PREPARATIONS:

• Avoid humid conditions >95% and also dew point of <3% for application
• The surface to be painted needs to be clear of all grease, laitance and fungal growth
• For best results use ROBBIALAC ANTIFUNGAL WASH for effective preparation on fungus affected areas
• Apply an initial coat of ROBBIALAC ACRYLIC BINDER to provide thorough binding properties  for the stucco
• STUCCO PUTTY-INTERIOR/EXTERIOR can be applied to fill all cracks and surface undulation for smooth surface
• We recommend applying one coat of ROBBIALAC ACRYLIC BINDER CLEAR to provide thorough binding of any ROBBIALAC water based top coat
• Do not apply directly on surfaces containing previous coats of enamel paint
• Do not dilute the primer with any liquids
