Contractor Emulsion (Interior)
CONTRACTOR EMULSION is water based acrylic paint, proven to be very versatile and great for economical interior finish. It gives a smooth and excellent matt finish on various substrates as recommended by the BERGER PAINTS technical specifications.
DESIGNED USE:Recommended for interior applications only with limited wash- ability.
AVAILABILITY:Is available in white and various shade range as per BERGER shade card.
*Due consideration must be given to the evenness of the surface and the nature of the substrate.SURFACE PREPARATIONS:
The surface to be painted needs to be clear of all grease, laitance and fungal growth. For best results use ROBBIALAAC ANTIFUNGAL WASH for effective preparation. STUCCO PUTTY-INTERIOR can be applied to fill all cracks and surface undulation for smooth surface. We recommend applying one coat of ROBBIALAAC ACRYLIC PRIMER UNDERCOAT WHITE (INTERIOR) / ROBBIALAAC ACRYLIC BINDER CLEAR (INTERIOR) to provide thorough binding of ROBBIALAAC – CONTRACTOR EMULSION top coat. Two to three coats of ROBBIALAAC – CONTRACTOR EMULSION can be applied as per required finish, giving three to four hours gap between coats. Painted surfaces that require refurbishing can be prepared by removing the flakey old paint and proceeding with the procedure described above.
Diluents and Thinning recommendation: Soft water and to the extent of maximum of 10% of the paint.
Method of application: By roller/brush and if large areas are to be painted one can use suitable spray application. To keep the brush/roller and spray equipment in good condition for use, clean the same in Luke warm water and dry them immediately after application.
Spillage and disposal: In case of accidental spillage, cover it with inert material sand/saw dust and can be disposed as per local regulations.
Storage: The material is to be stored in well ventilated rooms at an ambient temperature not more than 35°c and in original containers.
