Black Bitumastic Paint (Anti Corrosive)

• General purpose solution to many of the water proofing needs
• It is versatile and being bitumen based has excellent water impermeable properties
• It is thermoplastic in nature and can be used over a wide range of atmospheric conditions with good film properties like adhesion, smoothness and low dirt pick up
• It has excellent anticorrosive properties and can be used in water damp environments

DESIGNED USE:

• It is strongly recommended for coatings on roofs, joints as sealant, for coatings on water tanks for purposes of water proofing and protection thereof
• It can be used as a general coating or even spread in the form of impregnation in a mat form.

Black and as per customer requirement.

COVERAGE: 

The theoretical coverage of ROBBIALAC BLACK BITUMASTIC PAINT would be approximately 8 – 10 M²/ liter at a Dry film thickness of 40 µ

*Due consideration must be given to the evenness of the surface and the nature of the substrate.

SURFACE PREPARATIONS:

• Avoid humid conditions >95% and also dew point of <3% for application
• The expected life span is directly related to the surface cleanliness and proper application.
• The surface to be painted needs to be clear of all grease, laitance and fungal growth
• Apply one or two coats of ROBBIALAC BLACK BITUMASTIC PAINT as required
• Painted surfaces that require refurbishing can be prepared by removing the flakey old paint and proceeding with the procedure described above.

*Not suitable for immersed conditions & cannot be coated with 2K, Vinyl & aromatic thinned alkyd systems.
